March Favourites

Spring is finally beginning to show this month, and with my choices of favourites, there is a definite move into the warm seasons, I hope you enjoy!

One Ginger Morning (here)

As I have already mentioned in my Top Spring Makeup Picks Post >> here <<. This is like a big bottle of Heaven. If you love citrusy lime scents, this is perfect. And as it’s a 500ml bottle, it’s also really cost effective! I’ve been using it for a month now and there’s still 2 thirds of a bottle left!

Tangle Teezer (here)

(I didn’t realise that i had forgot to photograph this with everything else!)

Being the curious person I am, I actually bought this specifically so that I could review it for you guys. I have heard a lot about this brush, and the only thing that put me off buying it was that it was completely plastic and I felt like it would damage my hair. However, when one of my favourite You Tubers Carli Bybel raved about it (if you’ve ever seen her hair you can trust her opinion) I decided to get one ordered.

Carli did say that she has started using this in the shower, to massage her scalp and also to comb conditioner through her hair. I have to admit I was skeptical, considering that brushing wet hair is the biggest No-No for hair care. But, I gave it a shot anyway. I have to tell you, I’m seriously impressed with this brush! Despite its appearance, it’s actually the most gentle brush I have ever used in my hair.

It almost doesn’t feel like it’s brushing your hair at all, because it glides through hair so easily without pulling on strands at all. I’m not sure how it works, but it’s amazing. And it does feel so good on your scalp in the shower!

Golden Rose- Loreal Eyeshadow (here)

This colour is just stunning. As I have mentioned in my Spring Makeup Picks, the pigment of this is beautiful and the consistency is creamy, if not without a little fallout. However,  really feel like this eye shadow is perfect for spring and summer, and that it makes a beautiful colour on it’s own or even a shimmer top coat of sorts to compliment any neutral eye look.

I love this shadow and I promise if you try it you will too!

Carli Bybel Palette

I won’t go into too much detail with this one because it was in my January Favourites >> here<< and my Spring Makeup Picks >> here <<. I seriously love this palette!

No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream for Normal / Oily Skin (here)

It’s no secret that my skin is oily, I dedicated an entire blog post to oily skincare >> here << . It can be hard to find a night cream that soaks in quickly, because a lot of the time night creams are formulated to be thicker, and they stay on the surface of your skin longer than day creams.

No7 is probably one of my top skincare brands, only coming second to Simple. The creams are a little pricey, but I promise that they are totally worth it. Since I started using this night cream, I have noticed a decrease in my dark circles and bags under my eyes. I definitely feel like my skin looks brighter in the mornings now. I use this cream every day, and have been doing for 4 weeks straight- and the pot is still full. So I personally think that spending that little extra is worth it for the amount of product you get. A must have in my opinion!

Barry M- The way you make me Teal

Again, I won’t go into too much detail with this, but check out my Top 5 Spring Nail Picks for more info! >> HERE <<

Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser (here)

This is my holy grail for concealers. Never have I loved a concealer more than this one. The coverage the formula gives is really pigmented, but it also isn’t so thick as to be cakey. I personally use the shade ‘fair’, and it brightens up my under eye area really well. I have always had a bit of an issue with dark circles, and no matter how much concealer I would apply, the dark would still burn through. Very frustrating.

The only criticism I could have about this concealer is the application. I mean, the sponge itself is a great size and shape, but it’s a little unhygienic. I would prefer if it was in a squeezy tube really, but ho hum, I’ll take what I can get.

Overall I think this is a great product, and I use it every single day without fail!

That’s it for this month’s Favourites! Have you tried any of these products and loved them? Or hated them? Let me know in the comments!
