Houmous Recipe


Houmous is heaven. I have loved houmous since my teacher in primary school once came in with lots of greek food, and made us all try some. It’s the ultimate snack, and a great comfort food. The best part is that it is also healthy!


 Houmous Dip

 Serves 2                          Prep Time: 10 Mins


  • 1 x 400g can Chickpeas (drained)
  • 1 large Garlic Clove
  • 2tbsp Tahini
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

For Garnish:

  • Parsley
  • Paprika
  • Chickpeas
  1. Place all ingredients into a food processor. Blend for 40 seconds- 1 minute, until completely smooth. Taste and add extra garlic/ tahini as needed.
  2. Garnish with paprika, parsley and chickpeas. Enjoy!
