South Lakes Safari Zoo

Hey Everyone!

Damn, it feels like forever since I last uploaded anything for you guys… I’m sorry !

I had planned on having things up whilst I was on holiday, but because of where we were I had no signal so I couldn’t do it. But I ‘m back now, and after an awesome holiday (which I will be posting about), I wanted to share with you these photos from when we visited South Lakes Safari Zoo in Ulverston. It’s a great place to take your children as it has a range of different animals and also the chance to feed lemurs, monkeys and giraffes- as well as watch penguin, tiger and jaguar feeding. You can get up close and personal with the cutest animals and it’s a really great experience. Check them out: South Lakes Safari Zoo

Below I wanted to share some of the photos I took that day, it was roasting and most of the animals were out enjoying the sun!

If anyone could tell me what these little cuties are, I would love to know!

  1. I love visiting the zoo, especially the ones that allow you to interact with the animals that are harmless and very social. It’s hard not to have a great time here! Your question got me thinking though, I rarely see lions awake when I visit.

  2. That looks like a lot of fun. I love taking my kids to the zoo, they always enjoy seeing the animals especially if I take them to a zoo where they’re allowed to feed or get up close to the animals. It’s a great learning experience for them.

  3. harmless and social interaction with animals of the wild seems a different experience. the zoo life experience is one of a kind for all, old and young.. I love your pictures.

  4. Wow, what a place! That’s how a zoo should be. I’m so used to zoos where you cannot really see the animals because they are sleeping. When the kids were small they loved to visit zoos and feed those animals which were allowed to be fed. Goats and camels were their favourite ones.

  5. The monekys on the electrical wire was so funny! It’s like they were walking on a tight rope or something. Those photos were great!

  6. I really want to visit this kind of place!.. You know what, the last time I visited a big zoo is when I was in pre school because we had a field trip.. I never had a chance to see a rhino and a giraffe though and I don’t think we have one here 🙁

  7. My favouritite animals are Tigers, used to work with them. Love every minute of it! Love your pictures. x
