I love this time of year, and when you get the odd day off it just makes it all worth while. I hate being stuck inside when the weather is gorgeous outside.
Today I wanted to share the most simple smoothie recipe with you, and it’s probably my all time favourite too. The combination of strawberry and banana leaves you with a satisfyingly sweet, creamy smoothie that will fill you up and refresh your body. It’s got 3 ingredients (if you count ice)- and is full of vitamins and minerals.
Strawberry and Banana Smoothie
Serves: 2 Prep Time: 5 minutes
- 8-10 Strawberries
- 2 Bananas
- 2/3 cup of ice (or a big handful)
- Cut the tops off your strawberries and cut your bananas into small chunks. Pop them in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Add in your ice and pulse until the ice is totally crushed. Serve into large glasses with a strawberry and mint leaves to garnish! Enjoy!
