On Sunday Sam and  I took advantage of the sunny weather and drove down to Tideswell Dale with the intention of walking through the Monsal Trail and up to Monsal Head Pub for a Pint and an Ice Cream. It was a glorious day, with highs of 18C, and we took a scenic walk by the river and up onto the Monsal Trail itself, before scaling a steep incline to reach the pub. The hill is a little effort- but it only takes 5 minutes and it’s well worth it for a drink!

In total this was around 6 miles, and took us about 3 hours to walk. I would recommend this place to anyone, take yourself a picnic for the walk and end at the pub for a proper British day out!
