It’s the first friday of the month, and you know what that means…
FAVOURITES TIME!
This month I have some real gems for you, and as we enter our final month of summer I wanted to give one final nod to this season.
Let’s get started…
Now I’m not one to brag but… I’m a pretty good judge when it comes to sun creams. Being a redhead, in the summer my skin either goes one way or the other. I either look like a ghost, or I look like a lobster. There is no in between. I hate sun cream because I hate the feeling of greasy skin, and I also hate having to rub it in for hours before it disappears into my skin. Whoever invented transparent sprays deserves a medal. This sun cream for me is just such good value for money, and it comes in SPF50 which is a MUST for me. I no longer feel the need to rub my sun cream in, I just spray it and go. It’s amazing.
Ted Baker Opulent Petal Body Spray
If any of you have been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know I have a serious obsession with Ted Baker scents. I don’t know what kind of wizardry goes on in their lab, but no matter what scent they bring out- I always fall instantly in love. This little bottle only cost me £3, and it travels with me everywhere. I’m terrible at describing smells but this is light, flowery and ever so slightly fruity. It’s bliss. Next time you visit boots I definitely recommend trying it out.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This concealer is hands down the best concealer I have ever worn. I have really bad dark circles under my eyes, but once this stuff is on you would never know. The best thing about this is that it’s really budget friendly, and for only £3.99 its the best drugstore concealer in my opinion.
Dove Go Fresh Pomegranate Antiperspirant
I’ve been using this deodorant religiously for years. It’s fresh, fruity and lasts for ages. I don’t really have much more to say about this, I just love it.
Real Techniques Detailer Brush
I don’t know if this is sold as a single, but I got it in a set of four, which I’ve linked above. This brush is amazing. You all know I love my eye shadows- and I never really considered that quality of brushes mattered when doing your makeup. I got this brush for Christmas a couple of years ago and it has made such a huge difference to my makeup looks. It picks up so much pigment in one dip, it’s crazy. I love how small the tip is too because I have hooded lids so it’s very easy for me to go overboard when I’m filling in my crease. It’s a great buy if you love your makeup.
Wickford & Co Raspberry Ripple Candle
I wish you guys had smellivision right now, because this candle is UNREAL.I bought this from Home Bargains, and it only cost £3.99. I cannot even begin to explain how AMAZING this candle smells. If any of you happen to have any raspberry ripple ice cream in the house, go and smell it, because that is literally what this smells like. It’s like summer in a jar, and I had to stop myself buying about 20 of these.
Pia Earrings
Lastly I just wanted to share these beautiful earring that my Nanna bought me for my birthday. They are simple, lightweight and stunning, I’m in love.
That’s it for my favourites this month! I hope you enjoyed my selections, and please let me know if you’ve tried any of these products before.
P.S: GO BUY THAT CANDLE 😉
