It’s Wednesday, and it’s that time of the week where we start feeling pretty tired, stressed and are counting down for the weekend. Usually in the middle of the week if I’m feeling particularly run-down or stressed, I like to have a mini pamper session which doesn’t take too much time, but leaves me feeling fresh and relaxed.
The first thing I do is apply a hair mask to my hair and leave it in for 20 minutes or so.At the same time I will apply a face mask so that once the face mask is totally dry, I can just get into the shower and wash everything off at once. It’s my favourite way to wash off my face mask because, to be honest, I’m pretty lazy.
Once I’m out of the shower and my skin is nice and clean, I’ll use a lip scrub and moisturising balm to protect my dry lips. And then perform my usual routine of cleanser, toner, and moisturiser on my face.
I never use a blow dryer on my hair, instead, I let it air dry and then use a tangle teezer to get rid of knots.
Once that’s all done and the evening is rolling in, I love nothing better than to light some candles, put on Food Network and make myself a warming green tea (or a hot chocolate). I might decide to paint my nails an autumnal colour (Barry M The Way You Make Me Teal).
Then I will spend some time filling in my bullet journal from the day and planning blog content for you guys!
