Pumpkin Carving

It’s Halloween week, and I’ve got some spooky things in store for you this week. I’ve been looking forward to Halloween since last year, and now that I’m in my own house I can go to town a little more than I could before.

The first step to creating a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween for me is to carve up a pumpkin. There’s just something magical about spending the afternoon covered in pumpkin guts…

I don’t know about you, but for me, a pumpkin is like buying a shiny new notebook. You never want to write in it until you’ve found the perfect reason or you’ve perfected your handwriting… the same as carving a pumpkin. I only bought one pumpkin this year, which meant I had one shot to carve something amazing. I think after scouring Pinterest and merging a few different designs together I came up with something pretty terrifying. I’m naming him Fred.

Happy Monday, and a happy final week of #blogtober! It’s been super fun and I can’t wait to do it again next year! Tomorrow I’ll be sharing three ways to use up the innards of the Pumpkin you just carved!
