Ghostly Cupcakes

It’s nearly halloween!
And I couldn’t celebrate the spooky season without making some halloweeny cupcakes for you all!
These ones can be decorated super easily and you don’t even have to make the cupcakes yourself if you don’t have time!

Ghostly Cupcakes

  • 100g flour
  • 20g cocoa powder
  • 140g caster sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 40g butter
  • 140ml milk
  • 12 Marshmallows
  • Chocolate spread (I used Nutella)
  • Black icing

Start off by adding all cupcake ingredients apart from egg into a bowl and mixing thoroughly. Beat egg then add to mixture, fold gently. Bake for 15 minutes at 190C.
Leave to cool for a little while. Scoop out the middle and add in some Nutella. Place a marshmallow on top of each cake and stick under the grill for a few minutes until the marshmallows start to brown and melt. Take out, squash with your finger and draw on a face with black icing. Enjoy!
