A rather unanticipated blog post for today, because I hadn’t planned to make these biscuits, they just kind of… materialised.
Anyway, these biscuits came out so well that, like the selfless person I am… I had to share them with you guys 😘
- 6oz flour
- 4oz dark brown sugar
- 2oz butter
- 1 egg
- 1 heaped teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1 teaspoon honey
Mix all dry ingredients. Add in the butter and honey and mix thoroughly. Add the egg and form into 12 balls. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180C (gas mark 4). Enjoy!
