February Favourites

File_006 (8) There have been a lot of products which I have loved through February. Some beauty, some food and some clothes too which I have really been enjoying this month!

Tresemme Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner

I can thank my boyfriend for this one. If you are a redhead like me, you’ll know the struggle when it comes to finding a shampoo that doesn’t damage or fade your natural shade. I was moaning to my boyfriend about this on the hair care aisle in ASDA the other week, trying to find a sulphate free shampoo ANYWHERE.

He turned to me and pointed out this, to which my initial reaction was horror. I can’t possibly use a colour protect shampoo if my hair hasn’t been dyed! Well, I was wrong. This shampoo and conditioner is AMAZING.

It’s not sulphate free, no, but it does the job pretty well. After the first use I noticed a big change in how shiny my hair was, and the colour seemed to just pop that little bit. I have been using it now for 3 weeks, and I really so think it has brightened up my natural colour.

Give it a try, you don’t need to be ginger, this will work great for any colour, enhancing your natural tones and giving your hair that healthy shine. I highly recommend this to anyone! You can find them both here and here.

Nutella

Nutella on toast…Nutella on pancakes….Strawberries dipped in Nutella…the list is endless. Nutella is the best. What started out as me buying a small jar for pancake day, has turned into full grown obsession.

I have always loved Nutella, but it isn’t something I would normally pick up with the weekly shop. But since the start of February, that’s exactly what we have been doing. I even brought some to work last week to liven up some porridge oats.

If you have never tried stirring a spoonful of Nutella into hot porridge and topping it with blueberries, I suggest you give it a try. It’s like heaven in a bowl.

Fit Star Yoga

If you are lazy but you want to get fit, or even if you just want to impress with some killer poses, this app is for you.

It’s such an easy introduction into the word of the yogi, helping you along the way to a fitter, stronger body. I typically do 3 sessions with the app a week, 4 if I’m really feeling motivated.

I spent my whole life not being flexible enough to touch my toes, but after 2 months of using this app, I can do it with ease! Trust me, you’ll feel great after a session!

Check out their website and Twitter (@FitStar)  accounts!

New Look Coat

I love this coat. I actually bought this coat and put it on straight away because it was raining outside. When I got back under cover, my coat was dry. Water droplets were sitting on the surface of the coat, but as I brushed them with my hand, they just fell off.

This isn’t the only thing I love about this coat. It’s really comfy and light, surprisingly warm considering it’s thickness, and the colour is gorgeous. It would pretty much go with any outfit, and I really feel like it’s one of those wardrobe essentials at this time of year. Again, I can thank my boyfriend for this one because he pointed it out to me. Sometimes I think he is better at shopping for me than me! Anyway, if you are looking for a really stylish, light coat to keep you covered during these winter months, this is the one for you. You can buy it here.

Marc Jacobs- Dot (Yes, I know i’ve spelt it wrong in the photo!)

I am really bad at describing smells, but I love this perfume so much! It’s a really fresh and fruity, with a combination of red berries and floral notes. It’s a beautiful perfume, if you haven’t tried it already, you should! You can find it here.

Avon Makeup Setting Spray

This is the first setting spray I have ever used, but I have been using this every single day since I purchased it back in December.

My skin is very oily naturally, so my makeup runs off pretty easily. But since I have been using this, my foundation has stayed on for twice as long, and my eyeshadow does fade as much either! I would definitely recommmend this product!

You can buy it here.

Primark Pjs

Primark Pyjamas are the best Pyjamas EVER! (In my opinion) and every time I make a trip, I always come home with a new set.

These Pj’s are cuffed pants, which i haven’t bought before, but i wanted to see what all the hype was about! I bought these Mid-Jan, and I have literally been washing and wearing ever since. I LOVE these Pyjamas SO MUCH! Did I mention how great they are?

To anyone who is planning a trip to primark, get yourself down to the nightwear section and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Real Techniques- Core Collection Brushes

I already own the Beauty Sponge by Real Techniques, and I was excited when I received a set for Christmas!

I never really thought that brushes could really influence the way your makeup looked before, but wow. These brushes make my eye makeup so much more pigmented and my contour really blendable, it’s no wonder people rave about these so much! You can get this set here.

Collection Cream Puff in Cotton Candy

I’m literally OBSESSED with this colour. This is my go-to Spring and summer lip colour!

It’s such a gorgeous rosy pink, and it feels so smooth when you apply it, it’s almost like applying a moisturiser to your lips! I have been wearing this colour every spring for the past 3 years, as you can see below.

This lip cream is like my baby. I feel like this would be one of my 3 desert island items, for sure! You can get it here.

Sanguine Scissors

Now I know that this isn’t to everyone’s taste, but I cut my own hair. Now only does it save me a ton of money, but I can control what I take off myself. It is essential when you do cut your own hair to have a sharp pair of scissors, because blunt scissors will damage your hair and lead to split ends.

These scissors are amazing! They are super cheap, and work like a charm.

You can buy them here.

This Cushion from George! How cute is this?! (Similar one here)
